About Me

My photo
Hello, My name is Anna. I am a very busy person and i like to stay busy. Although at times it can get overwhelming but I'm used to it now. ;) or am I??? I am currently a part time student. I used to be full time but my grades suffered so I decided to minimize it. I am also working and a mother of a almost 3 year old. I am a licensed cosmetologist and soon to be CNA. Well I would really like this blog to be dedicated to beauty. I may only have 2 1/2 years of experience but I have always loved this industry. I am always learning new things and would love to share them with you.

Hair

I LOVE THIS HAIRSTYLE/ HAIRCUT!!!

Marilyn Brush- These are good for blow outs and getting nice smooth hair. It has a rough texture so it smooths each strand. About $20.
Hot tools marcel curling iron- marcels get tighter curls and are more professional. I want each size like (1/4, 1/2, 1, and 1 1/2 inch) about $30 each.

Enzo milano clipless curling iron these are the curls they make. About $120 but worth it.

I love her hair. I like the different colors of highlights!!! (makeup geek's marlena)

One tip I would like to say is in order to style your hair you need to know the texture and density. The texture can be fine, medium, or thick. I personally have medium hair. This hair has memory. It can hold a curl and doesn't lie flat an hour later. I've been blessed. Any of these textures can be straight, wavy or curly.

  • Fine: its the thinnest, most delicate type. You can still have a lot of hair but each individual strand is fine. Its all about the individual strand.
  • Density means how much hair you have per square inch.
  • Medium: like i said before this is the best hair texture. It is the easiest to maintain. It doesnt really put up a fight if you want to curl it or straighten it.
  • Thick: there is good and bad to this hair texture. Depending on your hairstyle and products you can really wash and go or even go days without washing or restyling. The bad is that if its straight it wont hold a curl and if its curly then it can have a mind of its own and hard to tame. If its course and wavy then it can take forever to straighten. You might even need a professional.
